Assembled App

Assembled is a virtual staging app for real estate agents to stage rooms instantly from their phones. Agents can stage rooms in real-time to support with rapidly changing sales conversations with clients, allowing clients to visualize the possibilities a space can bring.

There is a high cost currently associated with traditional staging methods. From physical room staging to digital staging, there is a high monetary and time cost that agents need to pay to reimagine the interiors of homes they are selling. The instant staging of rooms provided by Assembled saves time and money and allows for more home visits, leaving an agent with more leads, and stronger leads as clients are able to visualize how their potential new home can look.

Assembled will inevitably grow to include a slew of AI-powered tools for real estate agents. An alternative design exploration to account for this was one that designed the app as a multi-tool. One where as soon as you open, you are confronted with a series of options, and you have the power to choose which feature to use. Almost like a remote control.

Though, given that our main feature is virtual staging, and a success criteria includes efficiency, I decided that the first thing a user should see is the camera — the first step to virtually staging a room. This positions the app to be a smart camera of sorts, where users identify the main benefit to be the augmentation of a room using AI. All other features follow, but center around the main feature.
